For many of you, The Taubl
Family Christmas at Mechanics Hall has become a family tradition. Beautiful
music filling a historic New England hall, often painted with snow flakes
falling outside to frame the moment, has brought people from all over the region
to this annual event.
But this
year, the Taubl Family would like to use this wonderful night to bring hope and
joy to children halfway across the world who are in desperate need of the
very basics of life.
"Light a
Candle," 8th Annual Taubl Family Christmas at Mechanics Hall (321 Main
Street, Worcester, MA) will be held this
year on November 28, fittingly the Saturday after Thanksgiving, and will give us
all a chance to give back out of our abundance, and make a difference in the
lives of those less fortunate.
Two very worthy organizations will be highlighted on this magical evening.
The Taubl Family asks that you read these short descriptions and respond to the
pressing needs of these children. What better way to start your holiday season
this year!
Heart for
Africa - to benefit the overwhelming number of AIDS orphans in the tiny nation
of Swaziland.
Light and
Life Foundation - to benefit the orphans and street children of Bogotá,
Colombia.
