Helping to bring hope back to the people of Haiti through music...

We would
like to introduce to you the Williams family.
Frank,
June
and their children Trevor (age 20),
Dawn (age 14), and
Pria (age 7)
Frank
Williams is the national director of World Vision's operations in Haiti.
He and his wife and children were living in Port au Prince at the time of the
earthquake. The events of January 12, 2010 found them separated in some of
the most hard hit areas of Haiti, thankful to be alive and desperately waiting
to hear from each other. Their story is compelling, and so is their desire to
help the people of Haiti recover, and find joy amidst the rubble. We will
be posting their story in chapters in the coming weeks, so please check back
regularly.

knew there was no way that all three could have survived, and certainly not
without severe injuries. I started to plan ahead for the next day. I made a

tarps, water, shovels....I paused for a moment, then slowly wrote "body
bags." I wanted to believe that they weren't for my family, but for others
that we'd find in the process, but it was hard to stay optimistic. Morning
came & I hadn't cried for my family yet. I felt that if I did, it meant that
I had lost hope...read

...Within a couple of minutes, I received
a call from World Vision United States asking about our condition and whether I
could talk with CNN. I reluctantly said "Yes." Within two minutes I was in a
live interview with Wolf Blitzer on CNN. I ended the call and focused
completely on determining the status of my own family... read
